Glass manufacturing (the largest consumption sector)

As a flux and clarifying agent, approximately 0.2 tons of sodium carbonate is consumed per ton of glass, which is used in the production of flat glass, photovoltaic glass, and bottle and can glass.

These are the core components of laundry detergent and cleaning agents. They enhance the ability to remove stains by softening water and providing an alkaline environment. High-purity products are also used in clean-up scenarios with high cleanliness requirements, such as video studios.

The standard solution is directly prepared using the reference substance, which is used to determine the concentration of acid solutions such as hydrochloric acid. In biological experiments, it is used as a component of the buffer solution to remove peripheral membrane proteins.

Usage and Storage Precautions

• Protective measures: Although the toxicity is not high, exposure to high concentrations of dust may irritate the respiratory tract and eyes. It is recommended to wear a dust mask, safety glasses and rubber gloves during operation.

• Storage conditions: It should be stored in a sealed manner in a cool, dry, and well-ventilated warehouse. Avoid moisture and clumping. And it must not be stored together with acidic substances.

• First aid treatment: If it accidentally enters the eyes, immediately rinse with plenty of flowing water for at least 15 minutes.
