Main application

Ethyl acetate is an excellent solvent with fast drying properties and high volatility:

• Laboratory application: Common solvents for column chromatography and recrystallization, extractants (for extracting phosphorus, tungsten, arsenic, etc.).

• Industrial application: Solvent for paints, coatings, adhesives, printing inks, and nail polish removers.

• Food and Cosmetics: As synthetic fragrances (fruit scents), used in the processing of candies, baked goods, perfumes, and decaffeinated coffee/tea.

• Pharmaceuticals: Used as reaction media or extractants in the production of antibiotics, vitamins, and many pharmaceutical intermediates.

Storage and Transportation

Storage: Store in a cool, well-ventilated warehouse with the temperature not exceeding 30℃. Keep the containers sealed and keep away from fire sources and heat sources. Store separately from oxidants, acids, and bases. Avoid mixing.

Transportation: UN Number 1173, Dangerous Goods Number 32127, Packaging Category II. During transportation, appropriate fire-fighting equipment must be provided. It is strictly prohibited to mix with oxidants or edible chemicals.
